Oxclose Buggy & Touring Car Club

The buggy club was formed over 20 years ago as part of the Oxclose Community Association held in Oxclose Community School, Washington.
Iain Fould's Yokomo MR4BC Super Dogfighter 2 4wd buggy The buggy club race 1/10th scale electric 2wd & 4wd model buggy cars, and 1/10th scale touring cars, on an indoor track and if the weather permits during the summer months on outside grass track. Each week the track varies in layout and construction to provide a challenge not only to the track builders but also to the drivers and their cars.
The club has  a computerised recording system using ARCS racing software, and AMB racing system to electronically records the cars laps and times. This investment brought the club racing up to date with technology equal to that in other clubs operating within the region and at national level. Geoff White's Schumacher Cat 2000 4wd buggy
Michael Stout's Losi XX4 Worlds Edition 4wd buggy The club has seen over the years its members entering local, national, and even international racing competitions. Club membership has always been open to adults and children of any age. Members have always enjoyed the friendly yet competitive atmosphere.
