Durham City Model Car Club

Durham City Model Car Club race 2wd & 4wd off-road 1/10th scale radio controlled buggies, with computerised automatic lap counting. Novices and beginners are catered for and are very welcome.

Racing is at the Nissan Factory on most Sunday afternoons., mail Bill for up to date information on race dates and times.

Directions to the Nissan Factory Outdoor venue.

• Form the A19 Northbound
• Pass The Nissan Factory on your left.
• Take the next slip road off to the left - signed Nissan Offices and Sunderland Air Museum. At the Roundabout at the top of the slip-road, take first left.
• At the first set of traffic lights take the left lane and turn left.
• 100yds to a roundabout - turn right into a car park - Nissan
• Drive around the left perimeter of the car park, clockwise - at the far end to where you entered there is an exit lane through to another car park.
• Drive through this lane - you will see the Sports Hall in front.
• Follow the car park edge - clockwise again - to the fence gates in front of the Sports Hall.
• The Track is through the gates on the grass on the left.
